VIVAnews - Chief of the Capital Market Coordinating Agency (BKPM) Gita Wirjawan said the Malaysian investors are concerned over the dispute between Indonesia and Malaysia following the arrest of Indonesian officials by the Malaysian sea patrol.
"Malaysian investors are worried over the current conflict. They want stability and security," said Gita today, August 30.
Gita expected the Indonesian people viewed the issue wisely.
"They (investors) are hoping that we don't blow this up," he said.
However, Gita said the Malaysian investors never threaten of stopping their investment in the country. "They view that Indonesia is a good place for investment," said Gita.
Malaysia mostly invests in plantation, banking, and infrastructures.
