VIVAnews – After Ruyati binti Satubi was beheaded, one by one the fate of Indonesians who have been sentenced to death is revealed. One of them is Sumartini, apart from some other Indonesian migrant workers.
An email came to VIVAnews.com editorial board this Friday afternoon. It informed there were eight other Indonesians to be beheaded after the Friday prayer today. The location is Balad Mosque, Jeddah.
“That information was the content of the short message from my brother, who is a migrant worker in Saudi Arabia. This morning he sent a short message to my other brother in Banten, and it was forwarded to me,” said the sender who claimed to be Ano Damiano.
He went on that his brother also sent an MMS of pictures of some mutilated Indonesian migrant workers, including those who were executed last week.
“Regardless whether this information is true or not, my brother only did not know whom to send this information, besides relatives. Hopefully this information is useful,” wrote Ano.
VIVAnews has replied to Ano’s email and has been trying to interview him to confirm the information.
When asked for confirmation, Indonesian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Gatot Abdullah Mansyur acknowledged having heard of the information. “I myself don’t know whether it’s true or not,” he said today.
Gatot went on that he had ordered the Indonesian embassy staff to find out about the truth. “I ordered them to be alert. Hopefully the rumor isn’t true,” he said and adding that so far there has not been any report from Saudi Arabian side. “Because today is holiday.”
Contacted separately, Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson Michael Tene acknowledged he had not heard of the information. “But if there is an update, please inform the Foreign Affairs Ministry. But it must be credible as the number of staff members in Saudi Arabia is little,” he told VIVAnews. “If it’s credible, we are ready to trace it.”

7. Mohzani, from Madura, East Java
8. Jamila Binti Abidin Rifi, from Cianjur, West Java
