VIVAnews - A number of Australian mining companies are awaiting the implementation of a Governmental Regulation to implement Law on Coal Mineral No.4/2009.
"Australian companies are awaiting a regulation which will act as operational policy of Law on Coal Mineral," said Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Bill Farmer, at the interval of the 2009 Ozmine Australia Exhibition Directory at Hotel Mulia, Jakarta, on Tuesday, Feb 24.
According to him, the governmental regulation may be a signal of whether or not the Law on Coal Mineral may compete with other mining regulations in the world. This is in response to the presence of around 100 Australian companies focusing on technology and mining services that are in operation in Indonesia.
The Australian government is organizing the third mining exhibition and conference Ozmine in Indonesia taking place at Hotel Mulia's Grand Ballroom in Jakarta, Feb 24-25.
Australia's presence in Ozmine is aimed at improving the ties between the two industries as well as maintaining a long-term mutual relationship.
