Sarijaya's Bail-Out Fund Stopped

VIVAnews - The Self Regulatory Organizations (SRO) and the Capital Market and Financial Supervisory Agency (Bapepam-LK) decided to stop the operational bail-out fund for PT Sarijaya Permana Sekuritas. The aid will end in June 2009.

"We will discontinue [the fund]," IDX Director of Monitoring Justitia Tripurwasani told VIVAnews in Jakarta on Thursday, June 11.

He added that SRO and Bapepam-LK are now discussing about the continuation of the securities accounts of Sarijaya's clients.

"Yesterday [June 10], we held an internal meeting to discuss this issue," he said.

He said that the existing securities accounts are only sub-accounts having small share lot.
