VIVAnews - Chairperson of the Indonesia Textile Association (API) of West Java Ade Sudrajat demanded that the next president-elect be more serious in energy issue on industrial sector.
"We are expecting that the coming president-elect will consider about energy issue because it is the backbone and hope of the industrial sector's growth," said he in Bandung on Saturday, June 20.
He said that despite the global economic crisis, they are still optimistic about the endurance of the textile industry. He even targeted that the industry would grow by four percent by the end of 2009.
According to Sudrajat, among the factors to speed up the growth are prices and electricity supply.
